Elective information

We offer electives in Vascular Surgery at Health Sciences Centre and St. Boniface Hospital to fourth-year medical students at the University of Manitoba. Students should apply with their preferred and alternate dates, following the process outlined by the University of Manitoba’s electives coordinator.

Starting in February 2023, we will be accepting out-of-province students for electives in Vascular Surgery at either site. Students should apply through the AFMC portal with their preferred and alternate dates, following instructions given by the electives coordinator at their medical school. We strongly recommend that students interested in matching to our residency program do at least two weeks of electives with us.
