Dr. Harding was born and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba. He completed medical school and a residency in General Surgery at the University of Manitoba. He then went on to the University of Western Ontario for a two-year fellowship in Vascular and Endovascular Surgery. Dr. Harding then returned to Winnipeg and has been a practicing Vascular Surgeon and Renal Transplant Surgeon for over 15 years. Dr. Harding has appointments with Shared Health Manitoba in Vascular Surgery and Diagnostic Imaging. He also has appointments with CancerCare Manitoba and is a Renal Transplant Surgeon for Transplant Manitoba/Gift of Life.
Dr. Harding is an Assistant Professor with University of Manitoba and is currently the program director for Undergraduate Surgical Education at the University of Manitoba, Rady School of Medicine. Dr. Harding has been a member of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada Vascular Surgery examination committee since 2014. He is also the director of the written examination in Vascular Surgery for the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. He is currently the Education Chair for the Canadian Society of Vascular Surgery.
Dr. Harding’s primary practice location is at the Health Sciences Centre. He practices all aspects of vascular surgery, including aortic surgery, carotid intervention, peripheral vascular disease, limb salvage surgery, venous disease and has a special interest in endovascular surgery. He is also a Renal Transplant Surgeon for Transplant Manitoba/Gift of Life.
